What is negative ion?
Ions are formed when an electron is detached from a neutral molecule (or atom).
The molecule losing an electron becomes a positive ion and the molecule gaining
an electron becomes a negative ion.
High levels of negative air ions are created by lightning, rolling surf, cosmic rays,
waterfalls and UV light. Today’s lifestyle destroys our natural environment,
depleting negative oxygen ions and causing detrimental effects to all living
creatures.

Where to Get Negative Ions
The ideal way and the most natural place to find negative ions is to live by a
water fall, walk on a prairie, or hike in a forest. But if you like most of us who
have to live in a city, drive on a freeway, and sit next computers and TVs, we
are deprived of negative ions and are exposed heavily to positive ions.
Here are some average sample readings of negative air ions taken in various
locations:
(Bear in mind that the body responds to levels above 1000 ions per cc)

By a waterfall:50,000 ions per cc
In the mountains:5,000 ions per cc
In the countryside: 1,500 ions per cc
In an average modern office:Only 50 ions per cc

Air Purification Principle: negative ion devices are installed in energy saving lamps.
The lamps purify the air by generating negative ions that attach to and eliminate
hundreds of air contaminants (positively charged ions), making the air that you
breathe fresher.

Benefits of the Negative Ion lamp:
1) It helps to purify the air and clear dust, smoke and bad odors.
2) It helps to purify one’s blood by stimulating blood circulation.
3) It regulates cells’ metabolism process; helps one to stay youthful and healthy
4) It strengthens ones immune system, preventing sickness and cold
5) It helps self-regulating nerves, relieves insomnia, headaches, pain in the back
and waist, rheumatism, high blood pressure, etc.
